1 DAY DISTRUBUTION OF FOOD ITERMS TO 50 WIDOWS AND IDPS DONE BY DREAMERS HOPE FOUNDATION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OGCEYOD AT THE WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CENTER LIMBE

The process began with data collection so as to identify beneficiaries. This was carried out by the Delegate of women empowerment Center; Followed by calls to selected beneficiaries who converged at the above indicated venues. The distribution itself was preceded by a 10 min talk of welcome done by the director of OGCEYOD followed by the registration of participant of participants.

At the end of the registration, the executive director of Dreamers Hope Foundation who talks on the objectives of the organization and the various activities carried out. The presentation ended with an applaud from the beneficiary followed by a talk on Gender base violence (GBV) done by the Delegate of women empowerment center and some members of the Fako Gender Base Violence platform members. Women were educated on what GBV is, types and effect of GBV, women were also taught the different referral pathway in case there are victims of GBV; at the end of the presentation, the floor was open for question and answer.

At the end of the question and answer session, the staff commerce with the distribution, beginning from calling out the names of the beneficiaries, each beneficiary had to sign attestation form. At the end, more than 50 beneficiaries where present in the distribution ground.

The distribution ended at about1.35pm with a group picture. The process was a success and beneficiaries were happy and grateful for the gesture from Dreamers Hope Foundation and OGCEYOD.
