To foster a sense of responsibility and stewardship, encouraging ongoing efforts to keep the down beach of Limbe and ocean clean.

The event also sought to promote collaboration and community involvement in environmental conservation efforts.

Participants were briefed by the hysacam team on the safety and environmental guidelines before starting the clean-up activity. Education and discussion were provide by the delegate and the head of the hysacam team to provide insights into the impact of coastal pollution and the importance of sustainable waste management practices.

Later on, volunteers were paired to work in small groups through the beach area, collecting and sorting various type of waste, with specific emphasis on plastic materials.

The event attracted a diverse range of community members. The engaging and enlightening nature of the activity prompted active participation and yielded productive conversation about the importance of environmental stewardship.
